Tammy Clair spent most of her life doing what she was supposed to do, doing it well, and being tired in a way that sleep never touched.
Then she was diagnosed with cancer.
A diagnosis takes many things, and one of them is the option of waiting. She stopped asking how to keep going and started asking why she had been living the way she had been living, and what she found was not damage. It was design. A whole set of patterns she built young to keep herself safe, running faithfully still, in a life that had changed underneath them years before.
Out of that came the Patterns-to-Purpose Method, the work she teaches now through Thrive by Design Women™. It is built on the Four Bodies, the mental, the emotional, the physical, and the spiritual, and it is not about fixing anyone, because the pattern was never the problem. The pattern was the protection. What changes a woman's life is finding out what it has been protecting.
Tammy hosts the Patterns to Purpose podcast, writes the Monthly Patterns-to-Purpose Letter, and is at work on a book called We Are Not Broken. We Are Patterned. She still works in healthcare, alongside people on the hardest days of their lives, and she works with women one at a time on the questions that have no tidy answer.
